I am sorry I haven't written on her for a long time, have been very very busy ! Just wanted to write on here today to say that I have read a small book which is a summary of Anne Frank's Diary. It was helpful because it highlighted the most important stages of Anne Frank's life and as I am looking into reading Anne Frank's actual diary, it will enable me to understand the drastic changes that she had to endure in her life.
When I was on holiday last week, I brought a book, The Scourge of the Swastika, highlighting a short history of Nazi War crimes and in it includes the:
-"ill-treatment and murder of the civillian population in occupied territory"
-"Slave Labour"
-"Concentration Camps"
-"The Final Solution of the Jewish Question"
I am at the stage of reading it through and making notes on helpful points.
Quite a while ago, a friend from college also gave me a book and DVD on the biggest concentration camp 'Auschwitz', which i still need to watch and read.
I have read through Wikipedia, which described all the different processes that the Nazis went through to wipe the race of the Jews of the earth and i found that the gas chambers were only thought of at the very last two years of the war.
I will keep updating on more research...
